The National Health Insurance was introduced on the south side of Belize City in early 2001 as a Pilot Project with the aim to test a new model of health care delivery – providing general access to high-quality healthcare appropriate to the needs of the community.
The clinic is located at corner Regent St and Rectory Lane and proudly offers its service to 12,000 registered members. It is staffed with a team of competent general practitioners and qualified nurses who provide services designed around the needs and preferences of individuals, patients, families, and the community. The team is inspired and motivated to provide services that inspire individuals to live healthier lives.
The Clinic is complemented with support services including referral to the pharmacy, laboratory, imaging services and specialists’ consultation.
